The typical recovery time for breast augmentation surgery is one to two weeks. During this time your breasts may be swollen and sore. You will need to limit your activity for several weeks but you should be able to resume normal activity after six weeks. Your surgeon will provide you with instructions to optimize the recovery process.

When it comes to breast implants, the two most popular options are silicone and saline. Both options are available in a variety of shapes, sizes and textures. While both types consist of silicone shells, saline implants are filled with sterile salt water. Since silicone is more viscous than saline, it flows differently in its shell and is known to have a more natural look and feel. But at the end of the day both implant types will look the same after they are implanted and both are safe to use.

Different standard incision approaches can be used during breast augmentation surgery. The incision type your surgeon chooses will typically depend on your body type, implant selection and/or lifestyle. The three most popular incisions used by surgeons are transaxillary (under the armpit), inframmamry (under the breast) and peri-areolar (around the lower edge of the areola). Implant sizes can range from around 100 to 500 cubic centimeters. For every 200 ccs added, breasts will increase approximately one cup size. While you may have an idea of what size you want to be going in, there are a number of factors to consider. Size can be influenced by height, chest size and breast tissue. Some other factors to consider are skin quality, nipple position and breast shape. By consulting with your surgeon, you can ensure you choose the right size for your body.

As soon as a woman's body is developed, breast enlargement can be performed. There is no upper age limit. As long as the tissue is sufficiently firm and elastic, breast augmentation can be performed at an older age with great results.

In principle, two different types of breast implants have become established: round and drop-shaped, anatomical implants. The anatomical implants copy the natural drop shape of the breast and produce a harmonious result. The round implants emphasize the upper and inner breast pole a little stronger and imitate a somewhat fuller pronounced décolleté. As a rule, the upper limit is 3-4 liters. Every patient should have realistic expectations as to the result that can be achieved. Fat pads can be optimally removed even with elastic skin.

The fat cells have disappeared after the treatment. They cannot fill up with fat again. However, for health reasons, all existing fat cells are never removed. So if you gain weight slightly, the excess fat is stored in the remaining fat cells.

Tummy tuck is a complicated procedure. It is performed under general anesthesia. The patient is given a drainage tube to drain the wound fluids. To ensure good wound healing, patients usually stay in the clinic for three nights.

Candidates for a Brazilian butt lift generally include patients dissatisfied with their butt due to flat, flabby, small, or disproportionate buttocks.
